How do I get a smoking smell out of a bedroom?

I have a heat lamp for my iguana that I turned on this morning. Not paying attention, it was laying on the floor instead of the top of her cage...I burned a hole into the carpet that went all the way through to the floor. (that room was filled with smoke bad!) My husband cut out the spot of carpet/padding and sprayed "kiltz" on the floor where the burn was. That got the smell outta that spot. However, the smoke smell in that bedroom is still horrible! I left the windows up all day through out my home. Nothing is working. How do I get that smell out?. I have a bed in there, two dressers and iguana cage...HELP please...I need to find (a not soo expensive) way to fix the mess I created!
