Vinyl Siding over old construction (Cedar Siding)

I'm looking for a comparitive analysis of the various vendors (i.e. Sears, Home Depot, etc... that sell vinyl siding. I want to see a third real party consumer report that compares products by some set or agreed upon measurement (average cost per square feet, square yard, "square'), the make-up/material (100% pvc, or what ever) and quality of the product (thickness, life expectancy, waranty, etc.). And what is the reputation of the nationally known company that installs the product with relationship to the warranty. |
