Fabric running wrong way on sofa and chair

I ordered a sofa and chair. The sofa had to be returned and a new one was sent out. The chair remained in my home. When the new sofa came it appeared to have a different coloring than the chair. I discovered that the fabric on the chair was running in the opposite direction than the sofa. I would like to know is this compliant with industry standards or should the sofa and chair be returned to the store to be replaced or returned for a refund?
