Electrical diagram for hunter ceiling fan

I just purchased a ceiling fan with a light fixture and the fan has a white, a black & a blue wire. My existing outlet has a white and a red wire. there is a wall switch that is connected to the outlet

what should the wiring diagram look like? the instructions were not in the box
