black ceramic top on stove

I have just bought a new whirlpool black ceramic top oven. I cooked soup on the top and there was a few splatters on the area of the hot burner. I took a damp rag and went to wash it off and used a flour cloth dishtowel to dry it and it left areas that look like a streak and also scratches. I used soap and water to try to remove that and it will not clean off. What can I use us clean it off?. |
