MrBooklice in newly thatched homes By John Smith from South Africa on January 27, 2008 Category: Booklice Hello I am a thatching contractor based in South Africa. I have a problem with booklice in all newly constructed thatch houses we fumigate with pyrethiods but they reapear after a few months. They eventually disapear after aprox 18 months. My clients find them very frustating and i need to find the best chemicals available preferably a long acting one that only requires a once off treatment. None of the older thatched homes have this problem. All the South African Thatchers have the same problem. I would be gratefull if you have any advice to offer. John Smith.
