Care Do not use sharp tools or harsh abrasives as they may scrape off the thin tin plating, exposing the base metal which then will rust. Do not cook acid foods in tinware, or let them stand in it.
Cleaning Wash tinware in warm, sudsy water, rinse, and dry immediately to prevent rusting. If rusting occurs, use rottenstone to remove.
Use baking soda and water to hasten removal of baked on food.
