Dishwashers will not affect the nonstick coating but may affect handles or knobs; Check manufacturer's instructions. Recondition Silverstone after dishwasher washing by wiping with thin coating of shortening or oil.

Remove stubborn spots with a plastic mesh puff or pad; for best results, use only products with directions stating safe for cleaning nonstick surfaces. Do not use steel wool or coarse scouring pads, or scouring powders.
