Hi !

I'm painting the outside of a house I recently purchased. It has not had a coat
of paint for many years. After cutting out patches of rot back to the good wood
and sanding back I have now applied two coats of oil-based primer. One painter
advises to go straight to an acrylic top coat while another advises to use an
undercoat first - before applying the top coats- what do you think?
