terracotta ceramic floor tiles

Posted in Cleaning Ceramic Tile Floors over 3 years ago, 0 replies

My problems are getting the little black tiny dots of dirt imbedded in my terracotta

colored ceramic tiles in my kitchen. They are 11 years old and my husband and I are

the only ones living here. I have compnay, but not everyday, weekly and only 2 grand-

children, teenagers and are not destructive. The grout is also very darkened, as it was

a med. rose color when new. We were told the person who laid it did seal the grout.

I think it did, as he did a great job laying the tile. I have tried a number of cleaners

and even scrubbed them by hand with cleaning agents, but it does not last. I have also

coated it with a sealer that looks shiney for a short time, but thetiny black specs are

still there. Please let me know is there is anything I can do for this problem.

Thank yu very much, Phyllis Ripepi
