How to clean bronze cuttlery?

Does anyone know an effective agent for cleaning bronze cuttlery? I bought my wife a 12 piece place setting of bronze cuttlery with teak handles in Bankock, Thailand. We love it! Unfortunately, the knives have become stained and nothing seems to remove the stains.

Cleaning Bronze

I have successfully used BRASSO to clean my bronze flatware from Thailand (Saim) with rosewood handles.  It takes quite a bit of time-harder to clean than siver but it works!

Cleaning bronze cutlery

I used Auto Glym metal polish. It is messy (like cleaning silver) but it has come up like new. Needs a good wash and polish afterwards, but it is worth it.
