Bathroom faucet /Moen single lever/shut off drips

Posted in Repairing Dripping Faucets over 2 years ago, 0 replies

Our Moen bathroom single lever faucet (10 yrs old, now) developed a dripping mode when it is shut off at the center,(H/C) position. If it is turned to left or right it stops, for now, but it is going to get worse I suppose. Could you please describe to me how to go about repairing this. Do I need parts or could it be an adjustment. If a part(s) is to replace, should I be looking at a kit, replacing all seals? How? How do I get the guts of this faucet out? Shut off water supply under the sink closet, first, okay. Under the cap we have a screw to be removed, then what? Thank you in advance for your time and expertise.
