Removing label adhesive from Teflon

When I removed the label from my new Teflon frypan, a lot of the adhesive stuck to the pan. I washed it in hot soapy water. I soaked it. I rubbed dishwashing liquid in and soaped it. I rubbed oil into it and then washed it. I scrubbed with a plastic scrubber. More than half remains in the pan. Any suggestions?

I figured it out myself! This morning I rubbed cooking oil into the pan to season it. As I continued to rub the adhesive all came off.
