Brick floor sealer remover

I have an acrylic sealer applied to my brick floors. Housecleaners applied way too much to floor and it is built up. What can I use to remove and reseal the floor.

A local flooring contractor wants to use methylene chloride and wants $15K.

Any ideas, please?
