About Us
HISTORICAL STORY
The owner of Warisan Jawa Group , Soni Siwicaksono, previously worked as Senior Marketing Manager at a trading company that exported handicraft and furniture products to notable clients in USA and Europe. Most of the clients were big retail chain stores and wholesalers. He served this position for more than nine years when suddenly a deadly earthquake hit Bantul in 2006. The company he worked with collapsed. He initiated to set up his own business since then. It is Warisan Jawa Group.
Learning from previous successful experiences in serving prominent home décor and furniture buyers, he then started to create small workshops for production purpose. The workshops are located in Klaten and Bantul area. Furniture workshop is focusing on indoor furniture using reclaimed teakwood material. However, the workshop does not limit its ability to produce furniture using other hardwood materials. All of our reclaimed furniture collections are produced by semi-machinery and handmade process. As this would give a unique finishing look to our products. This has successfully attracted more and more buyers to purchase from us. Today, we have two furniture workshops in Klaten to support high demand of our products. Apart to it, we have also set up handicraft workshop in Bantul to supply home décor products demand from our customers.
Now, we have reached 5 x 40ft containers monthly production capacity. We move significantly from small company to a bigger one. Our skillful team will be ready to assist your future projects by upholding motto SIMPLE-UNIQUE-AFFORDABLE.
STORY OF OUR MATERIAL:
As our core business value, we put eco-friendly materials in production as much as possible in order to reduce global warming effect and to create a better place to live within.
In furniture production :
we recommend to using reclaimed / recycled solid wood as our main materials. Currently, we are maximizing recycled teakwood which comes from the old of constructions, old warehouse, bridge, old house, etc. No need to cut down even a single tree just to create unique and durable furniture. Why we prefer to use recycled wood material ? because it will be minimum risk for cracking when we turn them into furniture. Moisture Content (MC) of our recycled wood is less than 15%.
In home décor products production :
we mostly use natural fiber materials which are available abundantly surrounding Klaten and Yogyakarta area. Our skillful craftsmen have proven its expertise in fulfilling fine handicraft collection for our notable buyers for years. The materials are pandanus, water hyacinth, seagrass, palm leaf ribs, mendong grass, gajeh, pakis and more.
